Request deletion of your Tile Torpedo account
You can start a deletion request here even if you have uninstalled the app or no longer have closed-test access. You do not need to reinstall Tile Torpedo.
If the button does not open your email app, email joshuagramp@gmail.com with the subject “Tile Torpedo account deletion request.” Send from the address linked to your account if possible. Do not send a password, sign-in token, or identity document.
How we verify and process a request
- We look up the account using its registered email address. An operator sends a one-time code only to that registered address. The code expires after one hour.
- Reply with that code and the words DELETE MY TILE TORPEDO ACCOUNT. We record a pending request and review it before deleting data. Sending the first email alone does not delete an account.
- After ownership and the request are confirmed, an authorized operator deletes the account and its associated active cloud data. We will reply about the outcome. We will not delete a different player’s account on the basis of an unverified email.
If your account was an unlinked guest account and you no longer have the device session, email us anyway. Tell us only that it was a guest account. We will discuss whether ownership can be verified; we cannot delete an account we cannot safely identify.
In the app, go to Player account → Account security → Request account deletion. A linked account must reauthenticate there. A guest can request deletion from its current authenticated device session.
What deletion removes
We remove the Firebase sign-in account, linked email and player identity, public player name, pilot admission, tournament sessions and moves, verified scores, leaderboard entries, and related account records from the isolated Tile Torpedo service. We also remove name reports involving the account. Your tournament history and rankings cannot be recovered after deletion. The sign-in identity is shared by the Tile Torpedo pilot and Play test builds, so deleting it ends access from both.
Campaign saves and preferences stored on your device are separate. A cloud deletion does not erase them from your phone. Clear Tile Torpedo’s app data or uninstall the app to remove those local saves; they may not work with a new account.
What may remain temporarily
We do not currently keep a separate 30-day backup of Tile Torpedo account or tournament records. The pilot cloud database’s prior-version history expires after about one hour. We do not retain a separate tournament-results copy after account deletion.
Technical request and security logs are separate from playable account and tournament records. The pilot service’s standard logs are set to seven days, the shared sign-in project’s standard logs to 30 days, and required audit logs to 400 days. These logs may contain request metadata and are kept for security and operations, not to restore a deleted account. We have not identified another legal reason to retain a deleted player’s account or tournament records; if one applies to a particular request, we will explain it before completion.
See the Tile Torpedo privacy policy for the full data and retention details. Questions can be sent to joshuagramp@gmail.com.
